My Story

Hi, My Name Is Noel

Hi, I’m Noel, and at Accidentalmigrant.com, we understand the unique challenges and triumphs of OFWs and aspiring migrants because we’ve lived them. My own journey started in Wellington, a beautiful city, but eventually led me to Auckland, where I continued to navigate new experiences and build a life abroad. This personal path has deeply informed our vision.

Founded with the mission of providing authentic, experience-based advice and a genuine sense of community, our goal is to empower you with knowledge, support, and a sense of belonging, no matter where you are in the world.

Biography

2008 : Landed in New Zealand

Landed in New Zealand and visited my brother. The visa was later transitioned into work visa.. story was mentioned on one of my blog 🙂

2021 : 13 Years of Work

Was working in Flour Mill for 13 years. Got our residency, my wife got pregnant and I had my successful heart operation.

2023 : Back to I was were 15 years ago

Before coming in New Zealand, I worked in a call centre agency. Look where am I now, after 15 long years – finally got what my heart really desires.

I am the Accidental Migrant and the next chapter begins…
